Alen Yousif
owner/operator
Alen is the owner/operator of King Cut. He is a third generation barber who grew up watching his father cut hair. As his own passion for barbering grew, he began cutting hair for his family and friends at the age of twelve. Alen enrolled at MC College right after high school, where he successfully earned his cosmetology license. Now with 12 years behind the chair and educating part-time, Alen specializes in classic and modern barbering work, trending hairstyles, shaves, fades, hair tattooing, straight razor line ups, and beard shape ups. Education has always been a part of Alens journey and passion.
Ornella Yousif
operations manager
Ornella is our highly trained customer experience and operations manager with over 10 years of experience. She specializes in sales, setting shop standards, and booking and confirming appointments. She also analyzes and improves organizational processes, and works to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency of the shop. Her goal is to maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within our team and guests. She will be the first point of contact and will answer any questions you may have!
Keegan Thomas

Keegan started cutting hair at the age of 7. After his grandma gave him a pair of hair clippers for Christmas, he started learning how to do haircuts and fades while in school and while living with his cousin.
He specializes in skin and taper fades, while also providing barbering for all hairstyles and hair types.
Keegan is from a small town called The Pas in Manitoba. He grew up in The Pas and resided in Prince Albert until recently moving to Saskatoon. Barbering to him isn’t just doing his job, it’s a hobby and a passion. He finds enjoyment in cutting hair and making his clients look their best.
Carlos Hernandez

Carlos decided to become a barber because he saw it as an art and a way to connect with men trying to reach their personal goals.
He specializes in fades and in the latest men's hair designs and trends.
Carlos was born and raised in Saskatoon. He was brought up from humble beginnings and enjoys connecting with new people. He is motivated by self-growth and barbering has always been his passion.
Nikki Carlos

Nikki began barbering because she was passionate about art and she wanted to find a career that would let her be creative.
She specializes in curls and pin straight hair. She can also execute any new hairstyles that clients would like to try out.
Nikki is passionate about conveying her knowledge in barbering and self-care to her clients. She loves to teach her clients how to style and maintain their look at home. In her spare time, she likes to binge Marvel movies, play video games and hang out with her two cats.
Sarah Alphonse

Sarah began barbering because she has a passion for people and art. She thoroughly enjoys working with her guests, she finds pleasure when her clients look and feel their greatest.
Sarah specializes in fades, beards, and shaves but she also enjoys executing new hairstyles.
One year after hair school, that was it, she fell in love with the art of barbering and strives every day to keep learning and applying new skills to her work.
Vinny Umali
Fades, mid length haircuts and beards
Vinny was 14 years old when Barbering started to pique his interest. He bought his first pair of clippers and started giving haircuts to all his family and friends.
Vinny loves working on all hair types! He specializes in fades, mid-length haircuts and beards.
Working with his guests to find the perfect haircut and helping them boost their confidence is something Vinny genuinely enjoys and finds pleasure in.
Kat Treen

Kat is an 11 year journey person barber, they find a great passion in making folks look and feel great! Barbering has allowed Kat to express themselves creatively and help people along the way.
Kat specializes in fades, long hair, braids, beards, all hair types, designs, shaves, gender-affirming haircuts, youngsters and perms!
When Kat isn’t behind the chair she likes to stay active in their community and give back as much as possible.
